| Measurement of the weather: meteorological station |

For observation of weather are used weather stations. Each weather station has a meteorological station with instrument and back room, located not hereinafter 300 m from station. Requirements to standard meteorological station such a: Size - 26x26 m (stations, on which are produced including actinometrical observation (measurement to solar radiation), have a size 26x36 m) Orientation sides of the station - on north clearly, south, west, east (if station square, that orientation long sides - from north to south) Place for station must be peculiar to surrounding terrain by radius 20-30 km The distance before low constructions, apart costing tree must be not less 10-times their heights, but distance from unbroken forest or urban development - not less 20-times Distance before ravine, cliffs, water level - not less 100 m in order to avoid breaches of the natural cover on meteorological station is permitted to go only on track All instruments on meteorological station take seats on united scheme, which provides the alike orientation to cardinal points, determined height on surface of the land and the other parameters Railing stations and all accessory (the stands, boxes, stairways, poles, masts etc.) are painted in white color for prevention their overweening heating by sunbeams that can influence upon accuracy of the measurements On weather stations aside from measurements by means of instrument (the temperature of the air and the land, direction and velocity winds, atmospheric pressure, rainfall), are produced visualizations for cloud, range to visibility. |
